The women-led tailoring cooperative in Mymensingh expands into school uniforms.
The Tana-Buni Women's Tailoring Cooperative has signed its third long-term buyer contract, this one to supply uniforms to a chain of low-cost private schools across Mymensingh and neighbouring districts.
The deal moves the cooperative beyond household textiles into a steadier, year-round revenue stream — and adds capacity for ten new members starting in June.
Profits are split between member income, a shared health fund, and reinvestment in machines.
